How a trip gets booked

  1. Tell us the route and the bike

Where it is, where it’s going, what it is, and when. Call, or send the quote form: a town or postal code is enough to start.

  2. Get a price, then confirm by phone

MotoLimo comes back with a price for your trip. Final confirmation is always by phone: a text or an email isn’t a booking.

  3. Pickup and delivery

The bike is loaded on motorcycle equipment, strapped down and driven to the other end.

Final confirmation is always by phone. The crew is often on the road and may not see an email or a text, so a booking is only set once you’ve spoken: call 416-651-2424.

He was professional, his equipment was in great condition. He loaded the bike as if it was his own. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him or use him again should the need arise.

Fully insured. Here’s the proof.

Most transport companies never show their insurance. MotoLimo puts its certificate online: a commercial policy from Travelers Insurance Company of Canada, with motor truck cargo cover for your bike while it’s on the truck. Not a personal “pink slip”.

Good questions

The ones riders ask on the phone first.

Where does MotoLimo pick up?

Anywhere within about 500 km of the GTA, as long as the trip starts or ends in the GTA, or is on the way back to it. That takes in Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Newmarket, Bradford, Barrie, Orillia, Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa and much further: a bike from Sudbury to Bracebridge works, because it’s on the way home. Not sure? Call and ask.

Is my bike insured while you move it?

Yes. MotoLimo is fully insured with the right commercial policy, including motor truck cargo insurance for the bike on the truck: not a personal “pink slip”. The certificate is on the insurance page.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the route, the bike and the timing, so every trip is quoted. Call or send the form and you’ll have a price before anything is booked.

Can you move more than one bike?

Yes: each MotoLimo truck carries up to 2 motorcycles at once. More than that is rare and means a second truck, so call to ask.

My mover won’t take my motorcycle. Can you?

Yes, and it’s common. Many reputable movers won’t put a motorcycle in the moving truck, because it can void the insurance on the rest of your household contents. MotoLimo moves the bike on its own trip, on the day that suits your move.

Can you come today?

We work mostly by appointment. Sometimes a same-day trip is possible, depending on where the truck is and what’s booked, so call 416-651-2424 and ask.

Do you move ATVs or garden equipment?

Yes: ATVs and garden equipment as well as motorcycles, scooters and trikes. MotoLimo doesn’t move cars. Tell us what it is in the form or on the call, and we’ll confirm it fits.

What do you need to know to quote?

Pickup and destination (a town or postal code is fine to start), whether it has two, three or four wheels, whether it rolls and steers, how many bikes, and your timing. The make and model help but aren’t required.

Need a bike moved?

Call to talk to the crew about timing, or send the trip and get a price back. Either way, nothing is booked until you agree.
